At all times MiCROTEC sets out with only the best and most innovative technologies for measuring and recognition that are available on the market, such as video cameras, infrared and laser scanners and x-rays. With these high quality components MiCROTEC builds products and systems that stand out thanks to their precision and reliability and can be depended on to work in the most difficult climatic and environmental conditions.

Pre-Calibrated Standard Modules

Standardised universal modules have the advantage that they can be integrated into existing installations and systems. Installation and upgrade costs are kept to an absolute minimum, because of the modular system approach. The measurement instrumentation is in a heated, dust and waterproof casing and therefore is protected from harmful environmental factors. Maintenance costs are kept to a minimum, maximizing the return on your investment. Even if a malfunction occurs the entire module is simply exchanged limiting downtime and interruption in the production schedule.

DiSCAN: Factory pre-calibrated 3D scanner module based on laser beam triangulation with proprietary reflectivity detection
DiCAM: Heated standard module with high definition image recording system and a light source

Whether it is a matter of measuring the log diameter, calculating its net volume or producing an image of the transparent log with all its quality features and faults, MiCROTEC has the solution ready.

MiCROTEC offers the following systems for measuring log wood and subsequent processes:

iRAS: Two-level angle scanner for measuring log woodlongitudinal

iRED (KEMES): Measures the exact log length, diameter and profile as well as the crook and sweep with its infrared parallel scanners

SCREENLOG: Takes a photorealistic, three dimensional image of the log to unveil the log in detail

DiSHAPE: Produces a realistic true shape 3D image of log

TOMOLOG: Recognizes the quality of logs and roundwood including knots, metallic foreign objects and defects

LOGEYE: Measures exactly the outline of the log and shows the qualitative characteristics of the log.

WiNLOG: Automates log and roundwood calibration, sorting and allocation in the industrial process

TiMBERTURN: Intelligent system for optical and optimal log rotation

OPTiLINE: Log carriage optimization software to maximize lumber recovery

From the Length and Width to the Transparent Board
