BRIKLIS briquetting presses

In hungarian

The Czech BRIKLIS  developed such systems which enable the production of briquettes from timber, sawdust and biomass. The diameter of briquettes is 50 or 65 mm and the length is 30-70 mm. The output does not include binders, compression is reached only by the press cylinders using the resistancy of the materials. The machine can be used not only for processing wood, it is also applicable for paper, plastic, metals, straw, cane, grasses, waste of crops, etc.

Briklis BrikStar CS series

BrikStar CS briquette presses are designed for small and middle-size joiner's shops. The hopper with the capacity of 0,7 m3 is equipped with an extracting cutter with independent drive and screw conveyer feed in the bottom of the hopper. Computer controlled feed of the pressing chamber by the screw conveyer allows universal use of the presses for processing of materials from wood flour to coarse shavings. The control computer allows unmanned operation of the press and optimum utilization of the press output in case of change of the material properties. Continuous monitoring of the operating cycle will ensure permanent quality of the briquette. The briquette press hopper can be connected to the material exhaust system. The control computer allows communication of the briquette press with other devices of the production line.

Advantages of BrikStar lines:

  • Compact design - on one base there is the press including covers, hydraulic unit, hopper and electric switchboard

  • Low assembly costs, fast putting into operation

  • Hopper of an optional size with vertically filled corners and extracting cutter equipped with blades can hold maximum 200 kg of the material

  • Transport of the material from the hopper without making an arch

  • Screw conveyer feed of the material into the pressing chamber

  • Continuous transition between soft and coarse materials

  • Main pressing cylinder with grand-scale dimensions

  • Good quality of briquettes even from materials less suitable for pressing

  • Heavy duty pressing chamber manufactured by special technology

  • Long service life

  • Feeding and pressing power automatically optimized by the control system depending on the material properties

  • Uniform length and quality of briquettes even in case of changing of various types of materials

  • Individual steps of the pressing cycle are controlled by a computer programming

  • Easy adjustment to individual requirements

  • Hydraulics with a quiet operation

  • No disturbing operating noises

  • Sensor of the minimum level of the material for automatic stop and start of the press

  • Minimization of the operating costs

  • Inspection door in the hopper wall

  • Easy access to the hopper area

  • Service hours counter, gauge of oil level in the tank and adjustable thermostat as part of the standard equipment

  • Simple checking and maintenance

  • Hopper flange allows an easy connection of the presses to the central exhaust system or unit exhausters

  • Work in dust-free environment

  • New design of the material feed to the pressing chamber

  • Safe processing of small chunks and knots

Briklis Brisur

BRISUR Technologic Line for processing of sawdust from sawmill production by briquette with the output of 200, 400, 600 or 800 kg of briquettes per hour.

BRISUR line consists of a feed screw for bringing the raw material from a loose pile, a system of belt and screw conveyers for transport of sawdust, sawdust screen, BUS drum drier including a boiler for its heating and one (400 kg/hour) or two BrikStar briquette presses.

Raw sawdust is carried onto a pile under a shed. The feed screw brings the material over the hopper of the conveyer which supplies the drier hopper. The drum sawdust drier is heated by the boiler for burning of wood waste. Wet sawdust is separated by the rotating screen situated above the wet raw material tank. Coarse pieces fall by sliding directly into the boiler for burning. Sawdust feed to the drier is regulated by the control system in such a way so that the output temperature of the steam from the drier could be maintained at a constant value. The control system also regulates the fuelling of the boiler. The fuelling of the boiler is automated in case of the output of 800 kg/hour. Burnt gases are mixed with cold air and are sucked into the drier by the ventilator for the fume duct. The ventilator is situated behind the drier on the dust collector. Dry sawdust is taken from the drier by the screw conveyer which serves as a tourniquet into the briquette press dry material tank. Briquettes produced with the diameter of 50 mm and the length of 60-70 mm come out of the press through the piping to the selected place of packing, e.g. directly to a PE bag standing under the pipe outlet. Briquette packing is done only after evaporation of the residual moisture and is not automated. Briquette presses can be equipped upon request with stamping dies for a production of briquettes of rectangular shape.
